Rubber Extrusions

RPM Industries serves a diverse range of markets and applications. Automotive and Recreation – DLO (Day light opening) seals, and lens gaskets. Architectural glazing gaskets, door sweeps, window seals, and setting blocks. Building and Construction Edge seals, lighting seals, and expansion joint seals. Silicone and Rubber extrusions is a process of continuous cure whereby the raw material is custom mixed and formulated to called-out customer specifications or a ASTM, SAE, UL, or Mil Spec standards.

Rubber or Silicone material formulations are feed continuously into the extruder and through a combination of screw rotation in the barrel of the extruder and heat, plasticizers break down the material and force it through a die shaped for the part desired.

The Silicone or Rubber extrusion then continues down the extrusion line and enters a wash and cool down phase to cool and cure the extrusion to room temperature for packaging.

RPM Industries accepts most file formats, DWG and DXF, Files for 2D Extrusions.
